What is a vCard QR code?
A vCard QR code encodes a VCARD block — a standardized contact format supported by every phone, email client, and address book. When scanned, the device recognizes it and offers to save the contact with all fields mapped correctly: name, phone, email, organization, address, and more. It's the only contact-sharing format that works universally.
vCard QR codes must be static
Your business card should not phone home to someone else's server. Dynamic vCard generators route every scan through their infrastructure — logging who scanned your card, where, and when.
